Publication of the book « Vers une nouvelle ruralité »

Caroline Dufresne, a member of the Canada Research Chair With Living Environments of the North, contributed to the new publication at the Presses de l’Université du Québec . “Vers une nouvelle ruralité : L’expérience des Ateliers des savoirs partagés” was edited by Juan-Luis Klein, Denis Bussières, Christine Champagne, Caroline Dufresne, Maude Léonard and Pierre-André Tremblay.

The renewal of rurality is a major challenge. How can we reinvent territories that are both living and viable? This book explores the tensions between exploiting resources and preserving living environments.

The book will be available starting May 7th on Presses de l’Université du Québec
